Why we built a church division

Most congregations in America have been with the same insurance company for a decade or more, often since the building was dedicated. That loyalty is admirable, but no insurance company will ever tell a church that another carrier offers a higher abuse and molestation limit on better terms.

We built US Church Insure to do that comparison. One application from your congregation is quoted through our agency across multiple A-rated markets — specialist and standard — that genuinely want houses of worship. A licensed specialist then puts the results side by side and explains where they actually differ.

Over 15+ years, Provident has placed coverage for organizations of every size, and our church division works with congregations of every tradition: independent churches, Catholic parishes, synagogues, temples and other faith communities, and faith-based schools and daycares. What we look at that others skip

Abuse and molestation liability is the coverage most likely to end a ministry, and the one most likely to be quietly sublimited. We compare limits, whether defense costs erode them, how allegations from prior years are treated, and what screening or training a carrier requires. We also check that your property limits reflect what it would actually cost to rebuild a sanctuary today — not a value set fifteen years ago — and that volunteers, counseling, and youth programs are properly accounted for.
